According to data released by Laser Focus World, China's share in the global laser market has also continued to increase, and in 2020, the laser market will be 10.91 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 66.12% of the global laser market.

Global Fiber Laser Sales Account for More Than Half of Industrial Lasers

According to the data released by Laser Focus World, the market size of industrial lasers has shown rapid growth in recent years, from US$2.866 billion in 2015 to US$5.157 billion in 2020.

Among them, fiber lasers are growing faster. The market size of fiber lasers has increased from US$1.168 billion in 2015 to US$2.717 billion in 2020. At the same time, the proportion of fiber lasers in industrial lasers has also increased from 2015. 40.8% of the lasers will increase to 52.68% in 2020, making it the industrial laser with the largest market share.

Medium and Low Power Fiber Lasers Have Basically Completed the Localization Process, and The Domestic Production Ratio Is About 56%

China is the world's largest single laser market. According to Laser Focus World data, the size of China's fiber laser market in 2020 will be approximately 1.38 billion U.S. dollars, of which the domestic proportion is about 56%, reaching 773 million U.S. dollars. Among them, Disen laser will increase from 12% in 2019 to 17% in 2020.

High-Power Fiber Lasers Will Become the Main Battlefield, and Localization Is Progressing Rapidly

With the innovation and improvement of domestic laser manufacturing technology, the energy efficiency of domestic high-power lasers has been significantly improved, and competition is gradually being launched in the high-power fiber laser market. From the perspective of fiber laser shipments, the shipments of fiber lasers of 1 kW to 3 kW, 3 kW to 6 kW, 6 kW to 10 kW, and more than 10 kW in 2020 will be 42,000, 15,400 and 9700 respectively, with a year-on-year increase of 33.3%, 25.2%, 98.0%, and 102.9%. High-power section fiber lasers (including ultra-high-power 10,000-watt level) products above 6kW’s market share is about 60%.
